Camping with Finn was a success...for the most part. Jared said he couldn't get him to go to sleep until about 10:30 and he woke up a few times but they both got more sleep than I did. It took the next couple of days to get him back of sleeping track but when he returned from the woods he was full of giggles and snuggles. I went out with the girls and painted my nails!
I'll have to admit I was pretty jealous of their small adventure (even though it was just at a park 10 miles away.) I haven't been camping since the night before Jared and I were engaged...that's like 3 1/2 years ago. SO SO SAD! We did have some camping adventures planned this summer...but then I got pregnant and my own comfortable bed isn't even enough to get me to sleep. I have high hopes for the future though! I grew up camping almost every summer with my own family. I'm determined to let the tradition live on.
