Finn has a hard time saying good bye to Jared in the morning. Jared often plays with Finn while I workout or run. Besides...JARED=FUN! We are teaching him to wave goodbye and then we stand by the window and watch him ride his bike down the street. Finn keeps watching until he can't see him anymore. Sometimes he just goes up to the door and pounds on it and cries, "Dad come back!"
When Jared returns and Finn hears him open the gate he bolts for the door as fast as he can.
Here he is waiting for Jared to come home.
Jared rides his bike to work (rain or shine) and Finn likes to take off his pants strap.

Aww what a smart little guy.
Kids do the cutest things. We adults get to laugh and cuddle.
oh - he looks so sad! (and then so happy when Jared comes home!) One of Chris' friends once said that having children was the best thing ever for his ego as they would cry uncontrollably every day when he left for work - you feel really important and valued...
Also - no wonder Finn gets up so early - with fun daddy play time to look forward to! (also - good for you - I just tend to stay in bed if Chris gets up with Audrey and lets admit it - that is no where near 5:30 am...)
Love that post!! Josie is the same way with waving bye-bye to the boys and Jason. Finn is adorable! I love him taking off Jared's bike strap, like ohhh look at this toy for me :) Yeah, and do you have plastic on your windows??
