A couple of weeks ago Jared made a fire in our fireplace and we made s'mores. But we won't do that again because it made the entire house smell smokey including my great-great-grandparents oriental which we ended up having to steam clean to get the smell out so Finn would stop smelling like fire every time he rolled around on it.

okay that video of finn moving is soooooo cute! I can't wait for that stuff! Olivia is starting to do funny things, but I can see its just gonna get more and more fun! and about the fireplace... last year we used ours at thanksgiving and our house REAKEd for ever of smoke. and I was so nauseous from prenancy that the smell made me want to vomit all the time (though i didn't actually vomit). We finally realized that the thing that smelled the worst was the thing that holds the wood in the fireplace. So we put it out in our storage unit. too bad huh? it seems so holiday-ish when you have a fire burning!
and of course you have that tape. you are the coolest.
